Carol Ann Whitehead FRSA, CMgr, CCMI, is a Non-Executive Director, Global Goodwill Ambassador and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Carol Ann is the award winning Managing Director and Co-Founder of The Zebra Partnership – a Publishing, Events and Marketing agency working with consultants, freelancers and performers on a project by project basis here in the U.K. and overseas engaging with diverse audiences.

Executive Director and Presenter of National Diversity Awards nominated Your Manchester Media with a flagship magazine show streamed via Sky Glass and other platforms with a 2.8 million reach in addition to spin off shows and podcasts.

Founding member and start up Board Member of BURN (The Black United Representation Network) which is actively tackling persistent racial inequalities in Greater Manchester through economic empowerment of communities and businesses. 

She is guest lecturer at the University of Manchester, on the Northern Power Women Power List, the Chartered Management Institute Women’s Board, Queen Bee Coaching and Pankhurst Trust Ambassador and a member of the Manchester City Council Steering Committee for International Women’s Day.

Carol Ann delivered an ‘Improving Wiki Diversity’ lecture at the United Nations Youth Association in Denmark and mentored them to host their own Editathon event, she is an action partner for the annual United Nations Global Festival of Action and was awarded Global Goodwill Ambassador in 2019. 

In 2021 Carol Ann was honoured to be named Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Champion in the top 100 Social Media Influencers and a Chartered Manager and Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.

In 2022 she was one of 8 Macclesfield, Cheshire connected women chosen by Redwillow Brewery to create, brew and launch a limited edition beer entitled

 ‘I AM WOMAN’. The beer truly represented the empowerment of women, strong and powerful, beautifully executed.
