The global issues which we’ve been experiencing recently have affected families, businesses, communities, and even our way of life. During this time, we need to update you on how we’re approaching this situation at BLAC UK.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by the issues , either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.
Even as we deal with all the uncertainties around this time, our team remain laser-focused on awarding our grassroots communities for their selfless acts, and our commitment to the communities remain stronger than ever before. Our company was founded on 3 core values – Honouring, Celebrating, and Embracing – and those values are unwavering and continue to guide everything we do.
We acknowledge there are many who are still impacted by the current situation, and this why we had to accept the realisation that without those individuals, we could not create the type of live event not just deserving of the community, but of all those involved in helping to make it happen, and be able to measure up to our collective reputation and standards for creating quality events.
We’ve been working with a number of great people to get over some challenges to find collaborative solutions and after much discussions over the past few days with our Partners and Sponsors, and out of the abundance of caution for safety, BLAC UK have switched to virtual in order to continue Honouring, Celebrating and Embracing the finalist.
Please join us on Thursday 23 September 2021 for the virtual event to announce the winners…more details will be available in the coming days…
Our dedication to you remains unchanged, and we know that in the very near future, we’ll overcome these adversities, and the BLAC UK will return in all its glory; tackling the pertinent issues which affect our community on a daily basis, and shining the spotlight (quite literally) on all those individuals and organisations who are doing their part to address the deficits, disparities, and disenfranchisement in our communities.
We are sincerely sorry for any unfulfilled expectations and inconveniences this may have caused. We appreciate your support and patience, and we long to see you in person soon.
BLAC UK will contact all ticket-holders to organise full refunds.
